This is an oversized hardcover book filled with full-color maps of Europe in general and then individual countries. Starting with Ireland and the United Kingdom, the maps are arranged for the most part from west to east and north to south. They are clear and very detailed and for each country, the maps move chronologically through time. There is a map of modern Europe at the back of the book followed by a country-by-country list of administrative divisions and an index and map credits. If your research has taken you overseas to Europe, you will want this excellent resource in your library.
